Immodôme warmly invites you on Sunday, 22 March for an exclusive architectural walk through the beautiful Pulhof and Floraliën districts.
In 1911, the development of a new neighbourhood with a distinctly royal allure began here. Several street names still refer to the Belgian royal family. The ambition? To create a prestigious residential district with stately avenues, abundant greenery and a refined character.
During the interwar period, the neighbourhood gained many of its most distinctive buildings, designed in styles such as Nieuwe Zakelijkheid, Art Deco and the cottage style. Renowned architects including François Vermeulen, Guillaume Peeters, Léon Stynen and Florent Vaes left their mark on this remarkable district.
